Japanese yam pasta sauce

I wanted to make a creamy pasta sauce and obvi couldn't use dairy. I remembered that sweet potatoes can be blended to a creamy consistency. At the grocery store all there was was japanese yams.. so that is what I used, and it was beyond yummy
recipe follows
Ingredients:
2 medium sized japanese yams
olive oil
salt
half a head of cilantro
pepper
vegetable stock
any other herbs, seasoning you desire

Bring a large pot of water to boil
skin and dice the yams then add to the boiling water
remove from water once a fork can easily be inserted
now add half the yams to your blender and add all other ingredients
- now I did not measure anything but you basically add the olive oil and stock to taste and to desired consistency, I promise you it's easy
keep tasting and adding, add to your pasta and serve with what evaaaa your heart desires
