Salad guide

I don't really ever upload my salad recipes from Instagram because there pretty self explanatory but I figured I would give a quick guide on how to make your every day salads a little more exciting

1. Mix up the greens - Don't always use the same lettuce and try mixing rocket with spinach or butter lettuce with a deeper green
2. Nuts! this is my fav way to change a salad, try slivered almonds, pistachios, hazelnuts or walnuts
3. Dressing - I'm a very basic dressing kind of person. It's usually olive oil and balsamic or tahini, but If I want something more exciting try mixing mustard, honey and olive oil together
4. Veggies - raw or cooked either way it makes it good. Go for veggies that will actually look good in the salad, this way you more likely to want to eat it.
5. Your protein - for me there always has to be a protein in my salad even if it's plant based. If your always doing chicken try a turkey cutlet. If your vegan try a yummy veggie burger tossed up in there
6. Make it with love..... and hopefully it will taste better

Pad Thai dinner for two

Usually when I make my vegan pad thai I use rice noodles, but I was looking for a grain free option. I instead used mung bean fettuccine which is made 100% from beans, e.g no grains and it turned out just as good
