How do you like your milk??

When I became dairy free I started drinking the store bough alternatives, but eventually they didn't make me feel good and I decided I was gonna make my own nut milks. This post is about making regular almond milk in to different flavors.
For all the almond milks the initial steps are the same:
1. soak almonds overnight or more than a couple hours in filtered water in the fridge
2. The next day rinse the almonds
3. Place 1/2 cup to 5 cups of water in the blender (the less water the thicker the milk - more water the thinner, more watery)
3. Blend until you can see almost no brown specs anymore
4. Place your milk bag inside a bowl that has a spout, pour in the almond milk
5. tighten the top of the bag and slowly squeeze out all the milk (legit like milking a cow..)

Now you have your regular almond milk! Keeps for about 5 days and you can literally use it for anything you would with normal milk, aaaand you know everything that's in it!!

Sweetened almond milk
1. Place regular filtered almond milk back in the blender
2. Add one date, pinch of cinnamon, coco h20 (the amount is depending on your own taste)
3. Blend et voila

Strawberry Mint Almond Milk
1. Place regular filtered almond milk back in blender
2. Add a handful of strawberries and as many soaked mint leaves as you want
3. Blend until strawberries are gone
4. Pour back through milk bag to diminish any little strawbs pieces

You can do this with any flavors you want for your almond milk!
* note - whole process is also the same for brazil nut milk
